With years of schedule making under my belt, I thought I had this 3-month plan ready to go. What I didn’t account for? Life. Ha! Every day, I’ve had a meeting or errands or an appointment. Or course, my schedule is now off. I need to decide how to make up the time or adjust the days I have left. To add to the mess, I tried, again, to schedule specific projects on specific days during certain times and only completed when an exact number of words have been written. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Life, and me, haven’t been able to stick to the plan. Just another piece of information during this time of experimentation.
I continue to make headway on my nonfiction. It’s something I can do while watching baseball. I even have two people with math and education experience willing to beta read once it’s done. I would like to say mid-July, but I’m learning that deadlines, at least for me, need to be flexible.
I’ve added about 7K words this week to The Bookie. And because this is a series, bits of what might happen in book 3 have made an appearance. I even have ideas on what to include in the short story prequel. I haven’t heard from Findaway Voices, so I’m thinking the narrator is still working on Of Art of Air. My beta reader returned all the stories I originally planned for MV2 and have since decided to split between Patreon and MV2. Editing needs to happen soon, especially on the short stories that will find a home on Patreon. Then there’s the serial for Patreon that has notes on the characters and what the cover will look like and the title, but has yet to get more words beyond the beginning of the crime scene. Finally, the short story that I thought to try in the spiral notebook hasn’t gotten any attention. Did I mention that Life has been happening? Ha!
