It’s Here!

Posted On July 25, 2025

I made my July deadline for releasing The Lost Gift, my newest holiday romantic suspense novella! The story bloomed from a prompt in a writing group I attended years ago. I’m happy that Sterling and Abby get a second chance at love. Here’s the book description:

“When Fate hands them a second chance, will the past keep them from a happy future?

Sterling Clark never thought a plane crash would bring the only woman he has ever loved back into his life. A week before Christmas, he lands on the side of a mountain. His rescuer has haunted his life for five years.

Abigail Nilson witnesses a plane breaking apart as it streaks beneath storm clouds. Among the debris, she finds the one person who changed her life. As danger surrounds them, Abby decides if trust can be rebuilt.

Sterling and Abby gather information to discover who has sabotaged the Clark family business. Will their second chance at love be snatched away by the desire for revenge?”

You can get it now from my website for $1.49, or you can find it on the regular retailers as a pre-order for $2.99 and have it delivered on July 31.

I’m tying up a few loose ends with admin tasks. I know what project I’ll work on next. I keep thinking I have these holes in my days where I can hunker down with my spiral notebook and scribble out some words. My paid gig takes priority, and my scheduling holes have been filled for the next week.

I mentioned that I celebrated publishing Building Fluency: Math Vocabulary with a cupcake. This weekend, I’ll treat myself to a lunch I don’t have to make and celebrate a job well done.
