With this week behind me, I can eye my calendar and know I’m five days closer to the transition that will flip my schedule. In two weeks, I’ll be straddling another transition. After three weeks, the first transition will be complete. That will open up writing time. I can’t help by peer down the calendar to the middle of October and know that at that time this rolling set of transitions will be complete. I guess I’m on both sides of the fence, splitting “be present” and “visualize the future.”
Since publishing MV2 and lining up the next projects, I’ve taken no action. I’m patient. I know when to push and when to wait. Pushing now will get me nothing, except frustration. Waiting until the end of the month clears away hurdles and allows for things to flow in a different direction.
I’ve listened to a couple of audiobooks. I’m also in the process of catching up on the author podcasts I follow. These activities have their own way of filling my creative well. The next couple of Saturdays will include meetings with other authors. I’ll write some with one group and listen to a present in the other group. Both contribute to easing the way for words. What do you do while you wait for the flow?
